Val: wakes up, gets to school late, texts Janae a million random things about nothing.
Janae: sleeps through the texts until she wakes up an hour and a half later (she still ignores them when she wakes up).
They both proceed to second period. Always. This is the class with highest attendance.
Then they make a split second desicion to ditch third period, head up to the mall and Clearfield High, where they are much more accepted and loved. (4th period has been completely forgotten by now.)
And so begins the bigger than life, bold, classic, courageous, daring, dauntless, elevated, epic, exaggerated, fearless, fire-eating, gallant, grand, grandiose, gritty, gutsy, high-flown, inflated, intrepid, lion-hearted, mythological, noble, stouthearted, unafraid, undaunted, valiant, valorous adventure of our lives...
